Reflection
This standard states that teachers should be able to take what they already know and transfer to new technologies and situations. In other words, teachers should build on what they already know and keep up with the ever-changing world of technology. By using a lesson plan that promotes the use of technology in the classroom allows for the teacher to meet this standard. The lesson plan is a great way for the teacher to demonstrate his/her knowledge of how to properly use technology in the class. Scoop. It, Padlet, and Thinglink also meet this standard. These tools allow for the teacher to provide students with up to date resource and also allows for students to have these resources at their fingertips as well as collaborate with one another. Scoop. It can also allow the teacher stay up to date with new educational technology and resources that are available. Lastly, I think that the website is another great tool to use. It allows the teacher to communicate with students and parents as well as show them your knowledge of content and proper use of educational technology.
I would like to continue to learn about new technology that is available for teachers to use. It is important to stay up to date with the ever changing technology so that we do not fall behind. I would like to utilize the tools that I have learned about on a daily basis in my future classroom.
