Reflection
The fourth standard states that teachers must model and teach students how to safely, legally, and ethically use digital information. As teachers, we should teach students how to respect the intellectual property of others which includes how to properly cite their work. Teachers also need to teach students how to use technology responsibly. For this standard, I chose to use Scoop. It and Padlet because these to tools allow a person to legally share articles, videos, and other resources with others. When students click on a link, it takes them straight to the source. I also included Google Slide. Having students do a presentation is a great way to teach students about research and citing others work. This can especially be done by having students create a works cited/references slide.
Since students tend to model their behavior after others, in the future, I will make sure that I cite work that is not mine as well as citing different tools that I use. I will also make sure to teach students how to use technology responsibly.
